DiskBloom turns a crowded drive into a map you can understand—then helps you review what might be safe to remove, without taking the decision away from you.
Start with a visual scan, follow the folders that matter, and decide what happens next.

File totals use allocated disk blocks; available, used, and capacity are reported separately. Sparse files and APFS clones can affect comparisons.
Nothing is removed automatically. DiskBloom checks changes, asks before moving items to macOS Trash, and never empties Trash for you.
AI analysis is optional. It uses the Codex CLI already installed and signed in on your Mac; selected file metadata is sent through your Codex account so it can suggest what to review.
At most 180 selected items may be analyzed. The metadata can include file paths, names, sizes, media kind, and modification dates—not file contents.
Only recognized generated caches with at least 90% confidence and seven days of inactivity can be marked safe. Personal files and unknown items require review.
DiskBloom does not grant Full Disk Access automatically. macOS may restrict some folders; unreadable paths are reported rather than hidden.
For Apple silicon Macs · version 1.0.0 · optional AI analysis requires the Codex CLI.
